Vanessa says Zac Efron is a good kisser

Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron made two “High School Musical” movies without kissing, but in the third installment of the Disney franchise, their characters, Troy and Gabriella, finally have their first kiss — and Hudgens, who is also Efron’s real life girlfriend, said the 21-year-old actor is no slouch when it comes to the smooch.

Warner Brothers has acquired rights to turn the Japanese action thriller anime “Ninja Scroll” into a live action feature. Alex Tse has been set to write the script.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year conquered the weekend, opening with $42 million.

Marisa Tomei follows her fully nude work for Sidney Lumet in last year’s “Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead” with her stint this year as a barely clothed stripper in Darren Aronofsky’s “The Wrestler.”

Quantum of Solace Review

Though pic is the first in the series in which the action follows directly from the previous film, the differences in tone, look and tempo are instantly apparent. As the camera zooms across northern Italy’s Lake Garda to pick out Bond (Daniel Craig) being chased in his Aston Martin by armed villains, it’s clear that the elegance of the franchise that “Royale” director Martin Campbell resuscitated is already a thing of the past. Even David Arnold’s music seems to punch the clock rather than elevating the visuals.

McG to direct ‘Dead Spy’ for WB

Warner Bros. has acquired rights to “Dead Spy Running” for McG to direct. He will produce with Jeanne Allgood through their studio deal at Wonderland Sound and Vision.
